Teaching methods
The bulk of the teaching takes the form of structured lectures, delivered
by faculty from the University of Adelaide's Schools of Commerce, Economics
and Mathematics, utilising a global network of experienced lecturers, drawn
from academic institutions in US, Canada, Europe and Singapore.
The lecturing style is very participative and lectures frequently incorporate
case analysis and discussions. In keeping with the premise of experiential
learning, there will also be group work sessions and opportunities for
workplace-based projects, field investigations, and individual research.
The group sessions will be invaluable in developing strong bonds between
participants that last well beyond the duration of the course, while the
workplace-based projects will be especially useful in helping students
to apply principles learnt in real-life situations.
